OLD SCHOOL NINER FOOTBALL CELEBRATION

Just thinking today about Superbowl games of the the past
Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, the catch.
Going to Grandma and Grandpa Van's to watch the game.
Grandma bustling in the kitchen, bringing out her shrimp and cream cheese dip, peanuts, vege dip plate, chips, dips.
She really didn't enjoy the game, just the company.
We usually had Budweiser or Coors beer, shots of whiskey on the side.

Not much has changed and a lot has changed
since the Montana/ Walsh glory days.
No more little girls by my side, Grandma and Grandpa are no longer with us.
What hasn't changed is the excitement of the 49'ers back in the
Superbowl.
There will be those at the party who love the game, those who love the food,
those who will be in another room waiting for halftime.

Drinking the beer, eating the food, the friends getting together to celebrate love, friendship and hoping for a damn fine football game.
